RW3 Depot

We recently purchased The Depot - or as many Hamilton residents know it, Ray's Wayside - and have been working with the incredible team at Brouillette Construction to carefully restore the space, maintaining its historical character and even bringing back some aspects that have been hidden over the last few decades - hello, vaulted ceilings!

Our grandfather Russell Ray bought the old train depot when he came home to Hamilton after World War II. He transformed it into Ray's Wayside, a home decor store with furniture, flooring, framing, and paint. After that, our uncle Eddie Ray took over, continuing the good business name. For over 30 years he framed photos from all over the world - including for his main customer, local Hamilton business Vantine Imaging - and sold furniture, flooring and mattresses.

For its third chapter, RW3 Depot will be home to five separate businesses in the beauty and wellness space, and it's still a family affair. In one of the suites you'll find Sandra Ray Beauty Co., owned by Tucker's wife Sandy. She offers on-site and mobile custom organic spray tanning, eyebrow microblading, chromeotherapy and salt sauna therapy. Sandy is also available for large group appointments for special events like weddings! Our cousin Jared Jillson has a barber shop, Clifford's Barber Co. (named after his grandfather). There is also Station 44 Salon, a full service salon with three hairdressers. The newest addition is Plank Hamilton, offering pilates, yoga and barre.

Each business within the Depot is either open now or will be opening soon. We hope you will pop by and visit, book a session, spread the word, and stay tuned for a community open house!

Having recently celebrated eight years in Bouckville, we couldn't be more excited for the chance to continue the Ray family legacy at 44 Milford St. in Hamilton, bringing a historic building back to life and working with more family and community members pursuing their dreams in the process. There's a lot in store for RW3 Depot over the coming years and we hope you'll follow along for it all.
